Mission Statement for: West Virginia Family Resource Networks (FRNs) West Virginia's Family Resource Networks (FRNs) Children, and families that nurture them, must be West Virginia's number one priority. A Family Resource network is a group of people from a local community that works together to better meet the needs of children and families in their local area. The group includes people who receive services for themselves and their families and other community members who are interested in children and families. The six outcomes adopted by the FRNs for West Virginia's Children and Families serve as a guide in the collaborative work of the Family Resource Networks: * West Virginians will achieve and maintain good physical and mental health. * West Virginia's children will be ready to succeed in school. * West Virginians will possess marketable skills and have access to good jobs. * West Virginia parents will have adequate resources to protect, nurture, educate and support their childre
